In the past three weeks, the Ethiopia air force reportedly conducted various drone-assisted
air strikes on the capital city of Tigray region, Mekele, including strikes on a children’s
playground and hospital (BBC Amharic, 31 August 2022; Reuters, 26 August 2022).
